Fly The Flag!

Isn't it about time the English took pride in our nation and celebrated our national day just like the Irish, Scots and Welsh do with theirs?

For more information, consider reading this*.

Happy St George's Day everyone. Warm beer** all round LOL.

* To the best of my knowledge, this site is not connected to any political organisation or grouping with extreme or racist practices.
** Yes- British 'Bitter' style beer is best served at room temperature, something other nations will never fully understand or appreciate LOL.

No, some of us don't get the English need for warm beer, we prefer ours nice and cold, just as it should be :-)

Yes, why shouldn't you celebrate your national day? While we in the Great Southern Land don't have a Saint's Day (as far as I know), we do have Australia Day, and we also celebrate ANZAC Day (for different reasons than why we celebrate Australia Day).

Even over here, people are trying to get rid of both of these very special days - because they might offend the minorities. No offence to the minorities, but if you don't like our National Days, then bugger off! Sorry. I just take great pride in my country, and I don't like people telling me that because they don't understand why we do things, they want to change it to suit themselves, and I dislike any government who sits back and lets them. What about National Pride? Let alone history!

Does none of that count any more?

Grrrrr
