A bit of an outing today to the big city, to the London Sealife centre which is situated opposite Parliament.

Some will know I don't enjoy driving into London and usually opt for the train and tube (the subway, in American). However I was persuaded to give it a go and fortunately there is excellent (allbeit expensive) parking just by Parliament, making for a short tourist trail past Big Ben and over Westminster Bridge. The Sealife centre itself was far better than I had imagined and despite the crowds I think we enjoyed our time there. Here are a few images from the day:

Plastic Bricks

Finally got to visit Legoland in Windsor today after all these years. In fact the last time I stood in the grounds it was something completely different: Windsor Safari Park. Showing my age aren't  I LOL?

Considering how much I loved Lego as a child and to an extent still do, you might well ask why on God's green Earth it has taken me so long? To be honest I don't really know the answer. Anyway enough of that, here is a (brief) pictorial tour:

Have you noticed a new word or phrase has crept into use recently?

Mostly to be found in video games such as Five Nights At Freddy's, we now talk in terms of "Jump Scares." Hello..? Isn't that what we used to refer to as a fright, shock, scare or something similar?

Just goes to prove saying "why use one word when several will do" LOL.
