I Made This!

Even if I say so myself, I'm feeling pretty proud of my efforts. Greek Stifado (beef stew), preceded by pita,  hummus and crudités, with grilled squeaky cheese (Halloumi to the uninitiated) LOL. Mmmm! 

Uni Bound Part 2

Correction: he's now received offers for all five courses (three universities). So pleased and proud!

Really pleased to hear my son has been offered places at two universities, with courses due to start this autumn (October).

Jab 3

My young man received his third Covid jab, or booster this morning. Really pleased he's chosen to do the right thing.

God Save The Queen!

This year, Her Majesty, will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee. She is the first British monarch to reign for 70 years, something of an achievement. Not surprisingly the Royal Mint have issued lovely limited edition coins to mark the occasion. This one is the uncirculated £5 coin.

The imitators haven't come anywhere close, this is still probably the best film of its genre.
