Normally this journey takes no more than 20 minutes.
The river Loddon burst it's banks in several places today after nearly 24 hours of rain and of course all the snow melting from last week. Added to that there were several incidents on the M4 Motorway today, putting pressure on the local roads.
At least I had a dry home to come home to...

Oh! that's not good! Please be careful out there, but at least you got home, and as you said, to a DRY home. There are others out there less fortunate, remember :-)
