Need A New TV? Really?

Having previously worked with the cable and "over the air" broadcast tv industry I was interested in the this and thought I'd share it. The oldest working TV in Britain has recently turned up, having been built back in about 1936.

The owner- something of a 'techie'- has added a 625 line to 405 line convertor and a digital tv set top box, so the single channel Marconi built set is still giving enjoyment today. Mind you it's still only capable of displaying black and white pictures.
