For those interested the pot is a Stoneware (white) clay but I've applied Mirror Black, which is an Earthenware glaze which fires at a lower temperature. I do feel quite pleased with the finished piece, nice and shiny LOL.
We have our college Art and Ceramics exhibition starting next week, by the way...
