Grown Up

Perhaps shockingly my young man turns 18 years of age today. How time flies! No matter how old they are, our offspring will always be children to their parents; we always look out for them and want the very best for them. By way of reminder, here's a few images from when he was younger and smaller.

Haloumi

My local fish and chip takeaway is now offering delicious Haloumi fries. The Young Man* and I tried some with our order today. Only £3 (USD 4.50, AUD 6) for six and absolutely fantastic!

*Previously known as Little Lad or ll but he's a bit grown up now LOL.

Census 21

The England and Wales census from 1921 was released this morning. For the first time it was recorded that there were far more women than men in the two countries. This was largely due to the aftermath of the Great War and led to women for the first time, in large numbers, taking roles traditionally seen as "male." True equality would still be several years away however.
