Census 21

The England and Wales census from 1921 was released this morning. For the first time it was recorded that there were far more women than men in the two countries. This was largely due to the aftermath of the Great War and led to women for the first time, in large numbers, taking roles traditionally seen as "male." True equality would still be several years away however.
