Mum

Mum met with her consultant yesterday to get the results of a recent scan and again with a specialist today. As far as chemotherapy is concerned it looks like we've reached the end of the road- the experts don't think any more can be achieved and (more likely) harm may in fact be done by further treatment to her liver. The liver is slightly enlarged versus the previous scan but they will monitor this. The consultant is however recommended further radiotherapy for the spine and bone-strengthening treatments. Not all bad news then.
