Five To Eight

Or to be exact the actors who played fifth, sixth, seventh and eigth versions of the Doctor in the best TV series in the world: Peter Davision, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann. All gathered under one roof at the Science of the Timelords convention held this weekend at the National Space Centre in Leicester (pronounced Lester dontchaknow).

Below are a few choice images from a very enjoyable day.

Spent an awesome few hours today at the Imperial War Museum in "that London." Here's a few choice images to demonstrate.

At Last

Gonna go out on a limb here and say I thought it was a bit too long.

Having said that I don't think myself and the four others who packed out screen 3 at the cinema have any major complaints.

Flag Flying

I've come to the conclusion it was high time I made my (mobile) phone calls patriotic with this LOL...

Crumble

Interesting news today that Aussie chocolate favourite Violet Crumble will once again become Aussie owned. Confectionery giant Nestle has sold the brand they had owned since 1989 (following their acquisition of Rowntree's). I guess they want to concentrate on their global brands. Oddly the news first seems to have been announced to UK media, rather than DownUnder...

Have to admit to being quite partial- despite appearance it is quite different to the better known Cadbury Crunchie bar- and occasionally I treat myself from a local importer, although over here a bar is relatively expensive.

Here's a light hearted advert via YouTube from the 1990's, featuring a well known actor from the Aussie soap Neighbours.

Motorway Sunrise

Here's a view looking towards the M4 motorway (London bound), with our nearest star putting in a very welcome appearance.

18

What better way to start the New Year than an early morning soggy walk LOL. Best wishes for the year ahead.
