My mum is now half way through the planned treatment schedule.
She's doing OK, holding up far better than perhaps I imagined. Then again you never really know until you need it, just what reserves you have to call on.

Was the weekend for vegging.
Went out Friday night to see The Guardian, the current Kevin Costner flick about the US Coast Guard swimmers but the queues were too long at the multiplex so we went to Pizza Hut.Back to the cinema Saturday and... success! Seems every sensible soul was outside at firework displays but at least it meant we could get into the film. Yea! Pretty good film as well.
Also watched Spiderman 1 and 2 that I'd picked up cheaply as a four disc box set. Enjoyed them so much I'll probably go see the next one, which I believe has the imaginative title of Spiderman 3.Made Mustard Mash. Mmmm.
