Say what you will about UK television lacking the budgets of their foreign counterparts, you'd have a struggle to beat the excellent and gripping Killing Eve.

Currently screening weekly on BBC One, it's also available complete on the iplayer. Tempting as it may be, I'm resisting the urge to binge though. That would be wrong LOL. We've been really spoilt this past month or so with some solid and compelling entertainment: Keeping Faith and Bodyguard from the BBC and the Jon Sim starring Strangers currently on ITV1.

And in a weeks time Jodie Whitaker starting her tenure as The Doctor in the best tv series on the planet. Happy days.

Found this House Spider lurking in the office this morning (Work Spider, anyone?). For a British spider he/she was quite impressive and didn't seem at all bothered when I placed a 10p coin nearby for scale. The coin is diameter 24mm.

It might have filled my car, but sadly Dad's possessions didn't seem to actually amount to much. Thank goodness we can measure worth and accomplishment in other ways, including our fond memories of the good times.

How Typical

The UK's last public holiday weekend until December and true to form, it is coming down in bucket loads outside. After our lovely long hot spell I guess gardens throughout the land will appreciate the reprieve and plants will breath a sigh of relief.

Of course those attending the renown Reading Festival won't be too chuffed; then again mud and terrible toilets are something music festivals are famous for LOL. Bank holiday Monday- as they all pack up for another year- promises to be better.

Later today I will have to go before a solicitor (a type of lawyer if you will) and swear an oath. This is somewhat different to my usual swearing like an oaf LOL.

Ten Years

How is it ten years can seem like such a long time yet also disappear in a flash?

We are told time heals. Well it doesn't we just find different ways to distract ourselves from thinking about the ones we love and miss so much.
