Don't you just love shiny gold things? 

Last year the Royal Australia Mint released this fabulous gold AU$1 coin featuring their new King and a Mob of Roos. Or group of Kangaroos to us out-of-town folk LOL. Thanks to technology, specifically the wonders of t'internet shopping, I now have my hands on this beauty.

You'll never guess who (or what) I found in the Middle of LIDL- Marmite's little brother LOL. At a bargain price too (for this import) of £1.65 (AU$3.15) per 220g jar. Happy days.

Swim Soccer

I've officially had enough of the rain and storms. Whilst other parts of the UK have had it far worse, I think we've had our fill for the winter. I'm waiting on the fencing guy to quote for repairs to my fence, the roofer has some urgent work to quote to replace damaged tiles and two smallish leaks in the conservatory roof.

Photographed today, the football (soccer) pitches near me. There won't be an Sunday morning football today, the pitches are only suitable for ducks LOL.
