So a US network is to remake the BBC's excellent 1970's set Life on Mars.
Apparently the original was too "British" and the accents too difficult for an American audience.
The lead roles are therefore to be recast so US viewers can better understand and identify.
Irish actors Jason O'Mara and Colm Meaney have been cast.
How does that work then? Is a strong Irish accent easier to understand?
Besides I always thought the US already had a 70's cop series: Starsky and Hutch. LOL
