Keeping Secrets
On the recommendation of a colleague, I've settled on physiological thriller The Secrets She Keeps, all the way from DownUnder. Originally broadcast in Australia during April this year, it has been fast tracked to UK, by the BBC. The drama centres on two women of differing backgrounds (aren't they always in this type of drama LOL?) played Jessica De Gouw and Laura Carmichael and the web of lies each have told, for their own purposes. Obviously as the story progresses it becomes apparent it is not just the lead characters who have skeletons hidden in the closest so to speak. Gripping stuff.

Forbury Terror
We often see in drama shows and also in the news those forensic tents the police erect over crime scenes. It's a different matter when not one but three are needed on the same day, in the same area.
Sadly yesterday evening my busy but largely safe home town was visited by the cruel, nasty and pointless horror we refer to as Terrorism. For reasons yet to be made clear, someone set about the crowd enjoying the sunshine in the Forbury Gardens with a knife. Many were injured and had to treated at the Royal Berks Hospital and sadly three have been taken from their friends, family and loved ones. Words can't convey how sad I feel about this.

For The Love Of Big Brother
I fear for this country, that before long a vocal extreme-left minority will be dictating government policy through the threat of mob rule. When that happens it is only a short hop to having thought-crime.
